As strange is it may seem to anyone born after 1955, the Korean War was never "won" in the typical sense. On 27 July 1953 the warring factions of North and South Korea signed an 'Armistice', or cease fire. There wasn't a capitulation by either side. A DMZ or demilitarized zone became part of "normal" life between the two countries. United States troops have been stationed along the DMZ since its inception.
Kim Jong UN has been itching for war since taking office and with his new found nuclear friends - the Iranians, he believes he stands taller on the world stage. Anyone who looks closely, however, can see the parlor trick of Kim covertly trying to appear larger by standing on the shoulders of another. Between he and Ahmadinejad, however, the two of them don't come near the Duke's 6'4".
