On April 29 2013 Jessica Herringa was working alone at a remote gas station near Norton Shores, within their police jurisdiction. A customer found the station open and unattended. Police recently charged yet another person for running a money making scam using Jessica's four year old child as the authorities also confirm that a body recently recovered in a nearby lake was not that of Jessica Herringa.
Possible vehicle that may have been used in the abduction is a silver or gray mini-van.
